Follow the Route de Saint Vallier up from Saint Cézaire sur Siagne and you'll arrive at the village of Saint Vallier de Thiey. At an altitude of 730 meters, this medieval village is on the Route de Napoleon, midway between the mountains and the sea. Visit in the winter and ski at the local ski areas, Audibergue or Gréolière les neiges only 25 kms from this village. It is a typical Provencal village with a 12th century church, prehistoric dolmens, and underground caverns. Be sure to visit the St Luce chapel, built in 1562, the chapel Saint Esprit built in 1635, the druid stone, This village is perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors. The village hosts several campgrounds, numerous restaurants, and the village's activities are centered around various outdoor sports, including, hiking, climbing, parasailing, horseback riding, tennis, football, and boules.
